The goal, and hope, of this website, is to help people recognize how certain facts of geometry, nature, and reality, can provide exceptionally helpful guidance, in how people can (and should) design, create, and manage various types of systems, structures, arrangements, and organizations, which can do real and genuine good, for the people who build and/or use them. Just as triangles form the strongest two-dimensional structures that can possibly exist in the universe as we know it, if two people who are in some type of relationship – regardless of whether that relationshop involves work, romance, marriage, playing games against each other, or whatever – begin to see that relationship as a three-part triangle – with "Person 1" as one part, "Person 2" as a second part, and the entity called "we" or "us" as a third entity in its own right, which needs and deserves to be respected, protected, and treated with truth and honesty – then that relationship will climb up to a higher, better, stronger and more stable level.
But, triangles are only flat, and two-dimensional; so, a triangular frame will allow anyone to poke a hand or fist through the center of that frame. A single flat triangle cannot actually "enclose", or protect, anything with mass, and value. And, the strongest and most stable THREE-dimensional shape that can possibly exist, in the universe as we know it, is a structure called a "tetrahedron". The Greek word "tetra" refers to four, and a "tetrahedron" is formed by assembling four triangles, into a shape that is similar to an Egyptian pyramid, but with a triangular (rather than square) base,
One of the facts of nature which largely goes unnoticed, but which can become remarkably valuable and useful for people who learn how to apply and use it skillfully, is this: the number 4 is a huge and crucial plateau, where – in LOTS of cases – pieces and parts can begin working together, as unified systems and structures that can do things that none of those parts can do, alone. As just one example, it is entirely possible to build cars that have only 3 wheels; however, you'll almost never see those, driving down a highway at 70 miles/hour. Instead, there is something about the design of cars, with four wheels located near the corners, to stabilize them, that makes them far more stable, safe, and able to do things that 3-wheeled cars simply cannot do.
In a similar manner, it is no mere coincidence that ALL higher animals that live on dry ground (with the sole exception of snakes) have exactly FOUR major limbs. When weird types of fish began crawling out of the water, and crossing dry ground to catch an insect, escape a predator, or get to a different body of water, the ones that could crawl and move most rapidly, and efficiently, had two bottom fins near the front, and two bottom fins near the back. That four-fin arrangement evolved, over hundreds of millions of years, into the combinations that exist in nature, today, of: (i) fore-limbs and hind-limbs; (ii) wings and feet; and, (iii) arms and legs.
If you can figure out and understand how and why triangles and tetrahedrons are the strongest and most stable 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional shapes that can possibly exist in the universe as we know it – and can figure out how to use 3-part and 4-part structures in your life, outlook, and relationships – and can understand the 1-2-∑-∆ system (where ∑ (sigma) is the Greek letter used to represent a sum, and ∆ (delta) is the Greek letter used to represent a difference), and if you will learn to respect, appreciate, and actively encourage, fertilize, and cultivate the ∆ (delta) parts of life) – then you will be better able to understand nature, systems, and structures – and, relationships between people, and what you can do, in your own life, to co-exist and live more happily, with people who are different from you.
And, that is one of the goals, and hopes, of this website.
